Joker Strikes Back 2
What did I do to deserve this!? Noah thought as he was running down the street.
He quickly turned into an alleyway and stopped to catch his breath. Once he caught his breath he started to run down the alley while looking behind him expecting to see his pursuer following him into the alleyway. Then…
CRASH!!!!
Noah fell to the ground and looked up in horror when he realized that he had crashed into Superman who was looking down at him. Noah started to slowly crawl backwards.
“Hello Noah.” Batman said when Noah touched his foot. Noah jumped with a start. “We need to talk.”
Noah found himself standing on the roof of a ten story building with a piece of rope tied around his feet with Batman and Superman standing right in front of him. Noah was so scared that he thought he was going to wet himself. Batman took a step towards him.
“What do you know about the Joker?” Batman demanded grabbing Noah by the collar and holding him over the edge of the roof. “I know he is up to something and I need to know what it is!”
“I don’t know what you are talking about!” Noah said looking nervously over the edge.
“You are telling me that the great Know-it-alls Noah doesn’t know what the Joker is up too?” Batman asked coldly.
“I left that life behind after the last time we meet.” Noah answered.
Batman stared deep into Noah’s eyes.
“If you say so.” Batman said giving Noah a gentle push over the edge of the roof.
Noah screamed at the top of his lungs as he fell towards the ground when he suddenly stopped halfway down the building. He let felt a sense of dread as he was slowly being pulled back up towards the roof.
“Now…” Batman said menacingly when Noah got back up. “What is the Joker up too?”
“Please don’t drop me again!” Noah begged tears coming to his eyes. “I really don’t what the Joker is up too. I left that life behind me.”
“I think he’s telling the truth.” Superman commented.
Batman released the rope.
Noah flew down the building again screaming at the top of his lungs. Oh my God! I’m going to DIE! Noah thought as he quickly approached the ground. He shut his eyes and braced for impact when he felt the rope pulling on his legs. Noah slowly opened his eyes and saw that he was about two feet away from the pavement. He then started his ascent back up to the roof. Not again… He groaned when he saw Batman’s face.
“Well?” Batman asked letting the rope slide few inches out of his hand.
“Alright!” Noah shouted. “I really don’t know what the Joker is up too. All I know is that he been going around asking for some kryptonite.”
“Do you know where is he hiding?”
“Last I heard he was spending a lot of time at some storehouse on Pier 3.”
Satisfied, Batman released the rope.
“Bruce!” Superman shouted running to grab the rope.
“Relax.” Batman said coolly grabbing the rope.
Noah was a foot away from the pavement when he stopped. He hung in midair for a few seconds. Batman released the rope and Noah dropped harmlessly onto the ground. Noah lied on the ground taking deep breaths. He felt warm. He looked down at his pants.

Gotham’s star reporter, Summer Gleeson, turned on the light in her room. She went to her closet when…
“Hello Ms. Gleeson.” Came Joker’s voice from behind Summer.
Summer spun round.
“Joker!” Summer exclaimed. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m here to give you the opportunity of a lifetime!” Joker said excitedly. “You are going to be reporting one of the biggest stories in the history of the world!”
“And that would be?” Summer asked nervously.
“The death of Superman AND Batman!” Joker laughed hysterically.
